  Just found out some very upsetting news...
  
  I am disabled and live in Arizona.
  
  I am unable to travel.
  
  My mother passed two months ago and Brackett's handled everything, so I thought...
  
  Brackett Funeral Parlor in Brunswick Maine had the
  WRONG NAME
  Engraved onto a plaque for my Mother's vault!
  
  They never caught the mistake!
  
  It wasn't until the FUNERAL, two weeks later that it was caught by family in attendance!
  
  Then! They said well the last name is right and threw one hundred dollars at the bill, calling it good enough!
  
  Then! Rather than replacing the plaque with the CORRECT NAME,
  They buried MY MOTHER that way!
  
  I called today, as soon as i heard this news, and was treated like a nobody by the very RUDE funeral director, who not only didn't apologize for what they had done, but dismissed me by saying an adjustment to the bill was made.
  It is settled, in their opinion.
  
  When I asked why they never notified me of the mistake personally, (They had all my information) he scoffed and said that was my sister's job to tell me....
  
  My mom will be gone two months tommorow.
  
  Maybe it doesn't matter to them, but it sure does to me.
  
  We have done business with Brackett's for generarions.
  I've never heard of such a thing before! They could have easily replaced this before her burial, after the funeral.
  
  This is disrespectful to my Mother, family and the absolute worse way to handle a mistake. This is unacceptable.
